Hardware Engineer

The Hardware Engineer will use knowledge of electronics HW design and simulation systems to lead engineering project teams.

Description:

• Use customer standards to develop requirements for hardware

• Assist in creating a scope, project schedule, and project estimate

• Create prototypes

• Create verification and validation testing plans

• BOM creation

• Strong analog and mixed signal design & simulation capability with ability to document and communicate design tradeoffs and results.

• Clarify requirements and document engineering design & test specifications.

• Take a design through the entire product life cycle

• Communicate project life cycle details including your direct involvement and responsibilities.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Masters or PHD preferred

• 5 years of hardware product development

• Experience with full product life cycle

• Knowledge of EMC technical challenges and solutions methods

• Familiarity with product & safety standards (UL, CSA, IEC, FCC, etc.)

• Design for manufacturing and high-volume test a plus
