Hardware Design Engineer

Description:

We are looking for a Hardware Design Engineer who will be responsible for the concept, design, development, and delivery of robust electrical designs. The primary work scope of this role will be focused on complex switching power supplies, analog and digital designs, and board and system test designs.

Our industry and technology are complex, so an ideal candidate would have at least 4 years of relevant hardware design experience, enjoy working onsite to learn from and collaborate with senior engineers, and thrive in a small team environment. Key Responsibilities and Duties

Design and development of complex switching power supplies, analog and digital designs. This includes but is not limited to:

oPower, analog, digital, and linear circuit design.

oBoard and system test designs and troubleshooting skills.

• Support product execution from initial concept to manufacturing and installation.

• Develop and implement test equipment, test plans, and generate test reports.

• Support customer and supplier visits and meetings as required.

• Identify and approve alternative sources for electrical components, services, etc.

• Generate and maintain parts lists.

• Perform evaluations and develop recommendations for repairs, upgrades, and replacements.

• Conduct field service calls when necessary.
