Gensler's Experience Design studio is a collaborative team of designers, strategists, and storytellers that engages with a wide variety of clients on projects of all sizes from experience centers and museums to corporate campus digital master planning and interactive installations. As Gensler designers, we help our clients tell their unique stories effectively via every channel available in today's diverse media landscape. Our approach combines design and architectural expertise with a unique point of view. We believe that this approach results in brands that build trust, inspire confidence, and forge lasting relationships.
Ultimately, our goal is to integrate technology across all the realms of experiential spatial design that Gensler touches enriching our storytelling, creating deeper and more meaningful client engagement, and enhancing the functional and aesthetic value of our work for our clients.
As a member of the Digital Experienceteam, your role is to help envision, scope, and implement digital engagement opportunities. You will be the bridge between the physical and digital world, connecting the greater architecture and design teams at Gensler with our Digital Experience Design team to craft truly integrated technological solutions in the built environment.
You are curious about all types of technology and appreciate how it contributes to a larger experience. Your knowledge of existing hardware technologies and media displays pushes the boundaries of physical design beyond a "rectangle on a wall." Playing with hardware excites you and building relationships with inventors and vendors lets you showcase the latest emerging commercial technologies to the rest of the team. While cutting edge technology inspires, a realistic awareness of 5-15 year longevity requirements guides your technology choices. You will be educating and inspiring the larger Gensler team about both applications and limitations of technology.
The Hardware Creative Technology Lead will be responsible for collaborating with fast-paced interdisciplinary teams of developers, interaction designers, graphic designers, digital and brand strategists to deliver projects ranging from discrete digital installations to multi-faceted immersive interactive environments. The Lead will demonstrate exceptional vision and technical knowledge, supporting projects from conception to completion, and ensure successful project outcomes.
