About the team

The SACM (Service Asset and Configuration Management) and SPM (Service Portfolio Management) teams are globally accountable for ensuring accuracy about business services and their underlying service assets. This includes CMDB Management, Software & Hardware Asset Management, and Service Portfolio Management. You will be part of a small team providing Service Asset Management globally for all Worldpay service assets.

What you will be doing

As a Hardware Asset Manager, you'll oversee the entire lifecycle of the hardware at Worldpay, from acquisition to disposal. You'll be the maestro of organization, ensuring our hardware inventory is meticulously tracked and optimized for cost and performance.

• Develop and implement ITAM (IT Asset Management) strategies, best practice, and procedures to optimize data management.

• Manage hardware throughout its lifecycle: acquisition, deployment, maintenance, disposal.

• Develop complex hardware asset reports and automate data population tasks for efficient analysis.

• Troubleshoot hardware asset data discrepancies and resolve complex data quality issues.

• Provide training, expert advice, and guidance on hardware asset functionalities and ITAM principles.

• Optimize hardware asset utilization and lifecycle costs and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure hardware asset compliance.

• Standardize asset configurations to optimize costs and support efficiency.

• Manage asset procurement, ensuring adherence to vendor contracts.

• Manage the End-of-Life process for assets, facilitating hardware refresh cycles and oversee proper disposal of old equipment.

• Collaborate with IT, procurement, and legal teams.

What you bring:

• 5+ years of experience with hardware asset management.

• 2+ years of experience with ServiceNow.

• In-depth knowledge of hardware assets, data analysis, and ITAM best practices.

• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.

• Strong data management and organizational skills.

• In-depth knowledge of hardware asset management principles.

• Understands how to use ITSM methodologies, eg: ITIL and Agile.

• Strong organizational skills and data analysis proficiency

Added bonus if you have:

• Extra experience with ServiceNow, specifically the licensing, asset, and CMDB spaces.

• Experience with databases and table structures.

• ITIL v3 or v4 Foundations certification

• Proficiency in spreadsheet and database software

• Experience with hardware asset tracking systems a plus
