Half-Time Term Law Clerk

U.S. Magistrate Judge Jeremy D. Peterson is accepting applications for a half-time (20 hours per week), term law clerk position in his Sacramento chambers.

The incumbent will complete research and writing on a wide range of issues that arise in federal litigation. This will include substantively reviewing pleadings, preparing bench memos, and drafting orders on matters pending before the judge. Applicants must be available to begin immediately.

An applicant's preference for an initial one- or two-year term of appointment and a weekly 20-hour work schedule will be considered and should be included in the applicant's introductory cover letter.
