Guidance Counselor - Middle School (2024-2025)
The Middle School Guidance Counselor assist pupils, teachers and parents with school related problems and assists students and parents to make appropriate educational and vocational choices. The Guidance Counselor also helps students overcome problems that impede learning and assists them in making educational, occupational, and life plans that hold promise for their personal fulfillment as mature and responsible men and women. Performs any other duties and assumes such other responsibilities as may from time-to-time be assigned by the Principal and/or Supervisor.
Valid Massachusetts Certification as a Guidance Counselor.
Teaching experience on the elementary and/or secondary level (middle school experience preferred).
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Minimum of Bachelor's Degree and appropriate Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education license. Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status.
