Qualifications:
New Jersey State School Counselor Certification
Knowledge of/experience with implementation of character education, social-emotional programming and development, and best practices in elementary counseling
Knowledge of/experience with the I&RS/RTI process
Experience with and knowledge of School Safety and Climate Teams as well as HIB regulations
Consults with classroom teachers, administrators, and parents regarding methods and/or materials necessary to meet the specific needs of individuals and groups of students
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Knowledge of 504 development and annual review
Experience with student scheduling and NJSLA
Knowledge of/experience with Risk and Threat Assessment protocol
