GTX Vendor Returns Manager

About The Role

The Vendor Returns Manager (Material Return Station/ZT Production Parts/Return to Vendor) is responsible for the collection, coordination, processing, and/or repair of non-conforming production parts or parts rejected by IQC. Manage the end-to-end demand, supply, inspection, and/or repair functions, failure analysis, accurate validation, and inventory allocation of non-conforming parts. Define and initiate cross-functional KPIs, metrics, and analysis.

What You Will Do

• Lead a team of technicians and coordinators

• Implement efficient repair processes to ensure quality standards are met

• Responsible for day-to-day operational oversight and guidance which align with overall strategic objectives

• Manage and analyze trends for overall efficiency improvement, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions

• Develop and train team members to support initiatives

• Define and document vendor requirements to improve the efficiency of parts returns

• Ensure timely processing and shipment of returned vendor material

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to resolve non-conformance

• Manage test lab and all related functions

• Manage internal validation of inventory accuracy

• Support Lean Initiatives

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical discipline

• 8+ years of experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment

• 3+ years of people leadership experience

• Proficient with MS Office applications

• Must possess strong data entry and analytical skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Strong written and verbal presentation and communication skills required

• Collaborative, flexible and adaptable
