Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated IT Delivery Manager to join our fast paced and forward thinking organisation. Assisting with Due Diligence (DD) activities of an acquisition relating primarily in the IT Infrastructure area but also able to support DD of Application and Digital.

How you'll make an impact

  • Meet with possible acquisition targets

  • Prepare and complete documentation to support DD activities such as Reports, Budgets, Architectural Reviews, RAID logs and the estimating of Integration costs (Materials and resources).

  • Capture and detail existing IT Infrastructure and networking estate of an acquisition target including in-depth investigation and subsequent reporting and highlighting of security risks and remediation activity needed to ensure compliance with Gallagher standards.

  • Support (secondary focus) the capture and detail existing Application and Digital estate of an acquisition target, including in-depth investigation and subsequent reporting and highlighting of security risks and remediation activity needed to ensure compliance with Gallagher standards

  • Good understanding of diverse technologies including but not limited to Citrix; VMWare; Exchange; HP hardware; Active Directory; DNS; DHCP; SAN storage; SCCM; M365; Azure

  • Providing the technical requirements to provide input to the process for architecting and design of infrastructure based services, including high availability, site security and disaster recovery, where needed.

  • Assist in preparing and presenting documents to support progress of DD to Gallagher Senior Management.

  • Assist with acquisition and integration DD, managing transition plans, project costs and MI.

  • Working with Project Managers / Developers / GTS to allow transition of proposed IT infrastructure changes to Gallagher infrastructure

About You

Required:

  • Experience of M&A - from DD through to Transition especially in the IT Infrastructure and then linking that in to the Application & Digital migration space.

  • Experience in defining proposed IT Infrastructure budgets to enable Infrastructure integration.

  • Hardworking, credible with a forward thinking demeanour. Confident in building and managing effective relationships.

  • A strong and eloquent communicator with outstanding organisational skills. Happy to manage multiple workloads and evolving priorities!

  • Technical capability across IT Infrastructure, Telephony, End User Devices (EUD), Printing, Data, Application and Digital subject areas.

  • A solid understanding of how applications interact with the Windows Operating System is an essential part of this role

  • Previous experience gained in IT Integrations (preferably in the General Insurance area) confident in planning delivery and estimating resource needs.

  • Essential Knowledge:

  • Enterprise Microsoft Products

  • VMware 5.5, 6.5;

  • Active Directory;

  • High availability and DR concepts essential.

  • Network infrastructure

  • Telephony

  • Desirable Knowledge:

  • VMWare SRM

  • F5 Load balancers

  • Linux
