GSD Part-Time (20-Hours) Global Support Tech Generalist, Japanese/English With Leader Member Support (Lms)

The shift schedule is Monday: 6:30pm-1:00am, Wednesday: 6:30pm-1:00am and Friday: 8:30pm-5:00am with Tuesday, Saturday, and Sunday OFF.

The person in this position may apply for an alternative hybrid work arrangement that will require coming into the office based on business needs.

• High School Diploma or equivalent required

• Associate degree or technical institute degree/certificate in Computer Science or Information Systems preferred

• 0 to 2 years previous computer technical support

• Ability to fluently speak, read, and write in Japanese and English required

• Current or prior local unit experience

• Strong knowledge of computer hardware, Church meetinghouse technology, network troubleshooting, including connectivity issues, locating IP or TCP/IP addresses, VPN software, supporting remote users

• Understanding of Active Directory to unlock and reset passwords

• Proficient with troubleshooting all Windows Operating systems

• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing

• Outstanding customer skills, with the ability to empathize and professionally troubleshoot and resolve customer issues

• Must resolve questions and issues quickly and in harmony with Church policy.

• Customer service is of utmost importance and candidates are expected to provide prompt, accurate, and efficient responses in a manner that demonstrates the highest level of professionalism, courtesy.

• Provide quality customer service by answering calls and emails from priesthood leaders and members in the Japanese and English languages.

• Fluency in Japanese and English is required.
