Purposes

Tier One support providing first level loan application and disbursement review for the Perpetual Education Fund. Provide customer service and receive inbound calls.

Applicant must be fluent in Spanish. Must be able to work 28 hours a week on a consistent basis. Hours will be Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00am and 4:00pm. Salary and grade will be determined at the time of hire based on experience, education, and skill.

Responsibilities

The candidate that fills this position will be working on in a processing support environment for the Perpetual Education Fund (PEF). The candidate will review first level loan applications and disbursement requests to ensure compliance with PEF loan procedures and guidelines. The candidate may also receive some inbound calls from PEF participants and will assist in answering questions related to their loan application or disbursement request. The candidate must also provide prompt, and efficient responses in a manner that demonstrates the highest level of professionalism and customer service.

Qualifications

High School Diploma/GED.
0-2 years' work experience (preferably in a call center environment).

Must be able to communicate fluently in Spanish and English (written and verbal).

Excellent telephone, communication, and computer skills.

Must demonstrate exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills with a broad range of customers that have varying levels of technical skills.

Must have an ability to adapt to changing policies and procedures.

Accurate identification of problems and the ability to efficiently resolve them.

Multitask within multiple GSC-related programs while actively listening to the customer.

Must be able to look at computer monitors for long periods of time.

Must be able to sit for long periods of time.

Must be able to keep information confidential.

Be accountable to performance metrics.

Worthiness Qualification

Must be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and currently temple worthy.
