As Growth CRM Manager, you will own the user journey and channel messaging strategy for all Postmates customers to drive activation, engagement, retention and loyalty. You will take a data-driven approach to creating and optimizing campaigns, automations, A/B tests, segmentation and continual data analysis and experimentation.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Develop strategy and drive execution of campaigns and automations for users across onboarding, engagement, referral and re-engagement programs

  • Build and execute campaigns across email, in-app, mobile and SMS messaging that engages users with our products and drives measurable business impact

  • Create a robust experimentation program that will help us quickly improve our efforts, with statistically significant results

  • Optimize existing marketing campaigns and create new campaigns with A/B tests on subject lines, content, audience segmentation, etc

  • Support the launch of product features and market expansions with engagement campaigns to new and existing users

  • Leverage personalization to deliver the right message to the right person at the right time based on their persona, preferences and behavior

  • Analyze and monitor the impact of programs, using insights to constantly improve

  • Identify opportunities and develop strategies to increase conversions through various channels (email, push, in-app messages, etc.)

  • Run and monitor reports on the various lifecycle marketing initiatives

  • Brief, review and manage content strategy to ensure it stays on brand, delights customers, and contributes positively to our goals

  • Collaborate cross functionally with brand, creative, analytics, product, engineers and merchant teams to align on goals, hit shared targets, and support broader company objectives

What You'll Need

  • 5+ years cross-channel CRM marketing (email, mobile, in-product) for large brands or start ups

  • Deep understanding of complex multi-channel customer lifecycles

  • Experience using engagement platforms like Braze

  • Analytical thinker with experience in tools like Chartio, Google Analytics and mParticle

  • Proven expertise and track record of driving revenue through marketing automation tools to create multi-step lifecycle automation, nurture campaigns, and complex customer journeys

  • Excellent creativity, sense of visual design, customer orientation, and ability to create compelling messages that lead to high-converting messages

Self-starter and able to own various initiatives from start to finish

  • Experience developing and executing A/B tests and translating the results into valuable business insights

  • Outcome driven and comfortable developing long term goals to track and improve performance

  • Experience working in a startup environment that requires flexibility and continuous innovation

  • Ability to collaborate with multiple teams and functions within the company including product, marketing, design and analytics

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Extensive knowledge of various email systems and best practices including dynamic lists, dynamic content, automations, HTML, and CSS
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

What you get to do: * Develop and oversee a top-class global strategy for building engaged networks of Premise mobile app users by converting users through the Premise growth funnel - from awareness and installs all the way through engagement and referrals. * Develop and expand the Premise playbook of best practices to be used globally to manage mobile marketing at scale. * Oversee diverse online and offline user recruitment strategy, with tactics ranging from paid social to radio and print ads. * Maintain a data-driven approach through continual experimentation and optimization to exceed company goals; utilize a strong background in experiment design and evaluation. * Research new marketing or growth opportunities, evaluate operational or technical requirements for new initiatives, and prioritize the most impactful projects. * Collaborate closely with the Operations team to coordinate user network expansion timelines, with the Data Science team to build out advanced analytical tooling to measure funnel and network health, and with the Product and Engineering team to scope out and prioritize new products to more efficient recruit and retain users onto the Premise app. * Manage a growing team of Growth Marketers. The following traits probably describe you: * 5+ years of experience in marketing, advertising, or growth via Facebook and Google acquisition channels, ideally in international/emerging markets, with proven results. * Experience in analyzing and driving a mobile-first user conversion funnel via growth marketing. * Experience developing and executing A/B tests and translating the results into valuable business insights. * Analytical and data savvy marketer.
