Performance Livestock Analytics, Inc. seeks an Area Growth Manager to drive the sales efforts within the Northwest Iowa region. The Growth Manager will help to revolutionize beef production agriculture and optimization within this key territory with the sales and support of PLAs Performance Beef software platform.

Area Growth Managers will assist in the development of relationships with feedlot beef producers and channel partners, such as nutritionists, veterinarians, brokers, and other industry advisors. The position requires intensive interaction with producers and their trusted advisors in selling, set-up, and support of the PLA software platforms.

The Growth Manager position offers significant career growth potential and financial upside.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the regional sales activities with the goal of gaining new accounts and driving revenue.
  • Help identify, recruit, and sell producers in their region.
  • Be a point of contact for producer and nutritionist questions, training, and education.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of production agriculture, especially beef production - must be credible in front of growers.
  • Willingness to learn value based selling and communication of PLA's value proposition.
  • Interpersonal, verbal, written, and presentation skills as well as the enthusiasm to champion a new product.
  • Ability to travel during key selling periods. Requires working from home when not in the field.
  • Computer and Internet knowledge; experience with CRMs or the ability to quickly learn these applications.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred. Associate grads encouraged to apply.

Job Purpose Statement: The District Sales Leader (DSL) is considered the bridge between customer happiness and business development within his/her assigned territory. Primary Responsibilities: * Drive consistent revenue growth for approximately $7-12MM in sales, exceeding revenue growth targets. * Lead and handle day-to-day sales, sales operations, logistics, inventory, scheduling, training, and performance management/people development for 12-18 employees. * Achieve or exceed service standards across all channels. * Obtain or exceed Cumulative Points of Distribution targets within district. * Lead display execution improvement within district. * Successful with productivity targets and leading productivity initiatives within district. * Successfully prospect and generate leads by cold-calling, meeting required monthly new account and revenue quotas. * Prepare and conduct business reviews and account calls with key accounts. * Lead strong safety culture by utilizing Company safety initiatives to minimize injury, work time loss and productivity loss. * Build strong working relationships with all key customers in district. * Achieve or exceed expense targets. * Demonstrate strong financial acumen. Accurately forecast, run budgets and make data driven action plans. * Develop and implement the appropriate sales programs and tools designed to grow account base and increase revenue with existing customers. * Prioritize projects, data and communication going to frontline. * Effectively lead team through company initiatives using change management. * Use Predictive staffing to plan and volume forecasts to execute labor needs. * Build and execute appropriate development plans for all employees including bench strength. * Conduct scheduled interactions with employees to drive sales and capability including Work With, One with Ones and District Meetings. * Performance lead to build team strength and achieve targets. * Provide all necessary sales support and training related to automated ordering system, sales reports, sell sheets, P.O.S., and other sales related materials. * Ensure compliance with all company standards.
