Growth Content Manager - Contractor

As Website Content Manager, you will report to the Lead Product Manager of Growth, and will work closely with our SEO manager, growth, brand marketing, business marketing and design teams to create, plan and execute a web content strategy.

What you will do in the first 12months

Ensure content and pages are created, maintained and updated at all times: (first month)

• Take ownership of the websites content backlog, grow and prioritise it
• Conduct content audits to identify and document gaps and redundancies in the sites content and influence teams to get the necessary copy or assets within a clear timeline
• Implement and edit web copy; source, commission and sometimes edit web assets
• Report websites technical problems to product/engineering support

Develop and communicate an effective web content strategy: (first 2 months)

• Create a web content strategy working closely with Brand marketing, B2B and Growth teams
• Produce maps and visualisations of the site to help staff understand the structure and function of our websites
• Implement and manage content processes for people to produce or update content

Optimize website pages for growth: (within 6 months)

• Analyse data to learn how users interact with our sites and build an experiments backlog for Landing Page conversion optimization (CRO)
• Survey users and hold focus groups to learn about how they view our sites working closely with UX and Design

Requirements

• Highly organised, with the ability to work on multiple projects at once
• Strategic, able to coordinate the work of others, research & collate information from different sources
• Experienced with Wordpress
• Logical and analytical, with a high attention to details and the ability to spot patterns, gaps and repetitions in web content
• Able to communicate confidently and clearly with a variety of stakeholders
• Preferred: An excellent writer and editor, with good spelling and grammar and the ability to adapt to house styles
• Preferred: Technically minded, with an understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and other web technologies
• Preferred: experience with analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Optimizely, Looker
