What you'll do
Actively lead and participate in business development with prospective clients including solution definition, proposal development, pre-sale client meetings, and development of statements of work all to achieve revenue generation goals. Facilitate sales and revenue against an owned target.
Partner with Sellers/Account Owners, Practice Leads and other Avanade solution areas to develop and present impactful solution offerings for prospective Clients.
Drive billable revenue through advisory work (60% of time allocation).
Communicate and report pipeline status to advisory executives and management, including budget, risks, and general business issues.
On larger engagements, be able to work with larger management teams and determine independencies between the Avanade project and other initiatives.
On smaller engagements, be able to work hands on in creating deliverables which could include strategy, design, development, testing, and the delivery of training.
Build on new client successes to scale business development capabilities within the Midwest Advisory region (inclusive of Provider/Payor/Medical Groups and Pharma, Biotech, and Medical Devices).
Partner with Practice Leads to define and target the needs of our H & LS target audience.
Facilitate effective change management programs within client organizations by leveraging your expertise of processes in the healthcare arena.
Partner with regional sales leaders in identifying and closing new opportunities within existing Clients.
Travel as necessary to client sites

8+ combined years of Health & Life Sciences industry and professional services consulting experience including Client delivery.
Familiarity and experience with Microsoft ecosystem offerings.
Strong business development and an active professional network of relevant executive-level contacts in the Midwest market.
Demonstrable experience effectively leading organizations or teams through change.
The ability to evolve, conceptualize and communicate new ideas using storytelling techniques.
Strong communication skills to be able to work with Client representatives at all levels, including presenting to C-level executives.
