Relate in a friendly professional manner to guests and fellow staff members. Build recognition/sales for the Ohio Star Theater while promoting our other segments. Work with local business owners/manager to educate them of our products.

Target and converts prospects through education of our services and ability to benefit guests. Find and develop prospects through networking, referrals, cold calling. Maintain a strong presence in the community while fostering relationships with business owners.

Attend local community events, participate in FAM’s, and attend tourism Chamber/CVB meetings. Meets sales requirements determined in conjunction with Sales Manager and OST General Manager. Develop potential new leads and follows up regularly.

Effectively/Positively communicate information regarding production. Primary responsibility is to increase ticket sales for theater while promoting overall Company. Maintain current database of contacts and sales leads.

Coordinate database and sales leads with Group Sales Manager to avoid duplication. Provide additional leads to Call Center Supervisor for staff to follow up. Meet bi-weekly with Group Sales manager to provide updates.

Meet weekly with Sales Manager to provide updates. Field incoming inquires with Box Office Manager. Coordinate contracts and maintains an open line of communication with Box Office Manager.

Work closely with Group Sales Manager, Marketing Manager and OST Sales Manager /GM regarding promotions. Assist with the welcoming and seating coordination of groups. Emcee concert performances as needed.

Additional duties as required. Skills you'll bring along Excellent verbal a nd written communication skills. Proficiency in math.

Ability to comprehend and execute instructions from clients and management . Good understanding of proper phone/email etiquette. Good public speaking skills. A desire to serve guests and to exceed their expectations.

Moderate local travel required/reliable personal transportation a must Independent, Self-Motivated, Responsible Strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to communicate effectively Must be available some nights and weekends. Use of own vehicle required with mileage paid while on sales calls. This position is expected to stand for prolonged periods Lift and carry up to 20 pounds; climb stairs; crouch, stoop and bend over Repeatedly rise to a standing position upon a guest’s entrance into the lobby Accurately hear, record, and deliver messages in person, by phone and email, in environments of high volume.
