Job Description

We're seeking a GVP Digital Experience Strategist to steer our strategy team in designing and implementing innovative digital experiences. This role is for a visionary leader committed to pioneering digital excellence in complex settings. The ideal candidate should:

  • Excel in formulating comprehensive digital strategies, encompassing experience visions, principles, consumer journeys, and detailed requirements, collaborating effectively with creative teams and technology partners.

  • A proven track record in leading strategy teams and superior communication skills for executive-level presentations are essential.

  • The ability to find clarity in chaotic environments and turn challenges into structured, actionable strategies is crucial.

  • Experience in the Pharma sector is a plus.

Responsibilities:

The Group Vice President, Strategy at Razorfish is responsible for driving growth with our people, our product our reputation and our revenue. The role requires a strategic thinker who can identify and pursue opportunities that cross-sell agency capabilities and pitch new business with positive outcomes.

The GVP will drive and lead the development of marketing plans with clients and ensure that teams are delivering a strategic POV that is informed, insightful and imaginative. They will also work to lead the team with clarity and develop solutions and tools that improve outcomes.

  • Develop direct collaborative working relationships with key client stakeholders

  • Identify and steward growth opportunities through incremental program proposals and proactive strategy recommendations to client stakeholders

  • Drive and lead the development of marketing plans with clients

  • Strengthen individual strategies by connecting people and thinking across teams and lines of business when relevant

  • Develop insightful creative briefs to provide focus and direction to developing creative program assets

  • Identify and steward adoption of process and practice improvements both internally and among client stakeholders

  • Manage, guide and mentor junior and mid-level strategists and ensure that teams are motivated and retained by giving them opportunities to expand and grow on new, interesting projects

  • Develop a deep understanding of the clients' category and unique business dynamics within the category

  • Develop a deep understanding of consumer behavior from both first-party data sources and analyses as well as third-party research

Qualifications

  • 12-14+ years developing marketing strategies at an agency, consultancy or within a marketing department

  • Must have experience developing strategies and activations across at least two (and preferably three) of: owned marketing/ecommerce site, addressable media, CRM

  • Insight development from primary and secondary research, plus online communities, ethnography, traditional and web-based focus groups, social media monitoring, digital audits and digital behavioral data, and online/offline media measurement tools.

  • A proven leader and relationship builder who can provide both an authoritative presence with executive-level clients while fostering partnership and collaboration with all levels of the agency and its partners that will drive growth

  • A proven track record of developing communications strategies that deliver on business KPIs / outcomes, sets vision and drives transformational change with the client at the center

Compensation Range: $167,000 - $299,500 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
