Job Summary:
The Allied Therapist is an active member of the treatment team.

The Allied Therapist isresponsible to develop individualized interventions to assist patients in meeting their treatment goals. The AlliedTherapist is also responsible to provide a variety of group therapies consistent with the clinical needs of thepopulation and the philosophy and objectives of The Horsham Clinic. Job Specifications:

To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to demonstrate competency in thecriteria listed in this job description. The specifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, andability to meet the minimum requirements for this position. Staff must demonstrate flexibility for reassignment tounits providing care to varied populations including children, adolescents, adults, older adults, and dually diagnosedpatients in an inpatient and partial hospital setting. Education: Bachelors degree in Counseling, Human Services or related field.


Experience: Two years experience working with a psychiatric mental health population required.

Experience in an inpatient psychiatric setting preferred. Licensure/certification:Registration, certification or licensure in counseling or allied health (i.e. art, recreations, music, movement, etc.) preferred.
