To accelerate the journey, Elekta is now recruiting a Strategy Manager to join our Group Strategy team. The position is located at Elekta's head office in central Stockholm and will report to Head of Group Strategy.

The Group Strategy team is at the core of Elekta's daily performance pulse-beat but also in the driving seat of setting the strategic course forward. As a Strategy Manager, you will work closely with executive management and play an important part of the strategy team's efforts to deliver on its key responsibilities and drive performance.

What you'll do at Elekta

As Strategy Manager you have a central role amid the most important topics and strategic questions for Elekta. You will work closely with Elekta senior management to enable effective decision-making. You will help key stakeholders successfully deliver on mission-critical projects and efforts. The tasks and assignments will shift in an agile way, but your efforts will address the strategy team's main responsibilities - these include:

  • Elekta group-level strategy and priorities

  • Strategic program management and strategic analysis

  • M&A and business development

  • Executive decision-making support (board materials, top management support, etc)

  • Performance management (strategic planning, execution follow-up, risk etc)

The right stuff

To be a suitable candidate for this position we see that you have thorough experience in program management and the ability to scope, plan and execute on projects towards defined objectives. You also have a University degree in business, engineering or medicine.

To fit with the role, we believe you have

  • University degree in business/engineering/medicine

  • 3+ years in a top tier strategy consulting firm

  • Strong in business analysis and strategy development

  • Skilled problem-solver, logical and strong in structuring and simplifying complex issues

  • Skilled in quantitative and qualitative analysis, with ability to distill action-orientated insights and define required next steps

  • Hands-on experience in business development, M&A and due diligence

  • Experience from managing and drive projects in cross-functional teams

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to document, visualize and convey messages in an impactful way to a senior audience
