POSITION SUMMARY Provide sales and service support to winter groups and pre-sold accounts committed to Steamboat. Sales include products within SSRC including ski school, lifts, food service, ski rentals, group race functions, and other pre-sold products to groups and pre-sold accounts. Group Sales will also act as a liaison between all SSRC revenue generating departments and the pre-sold accounts.

Resume and cover letter required. ESSENTIAL DUTIES Facilitate the sales process for winter ski club/council trips, specializing in communicating, servicing and upselling ancillary on-mountain group functions. Build and fulfill group orders in RTP.

Coordinate last minute changes to lift ticket orders, as needed. Deliver or ship group lift tickets on an as needed basis. Obtain group customer IKON pass information for accurate reporting of groups.

Manage data input, reports, and contact management for Delphi. Includes all lift ticket and SSRC product sales to be input and managed in system for all groups. Reporting- work closely with Sales Managers on all reporting for weekly and year-end stats, in Delphi and RTP.

Also assist with reporting on all group dining, ski school, rentals, lift tickets, etc. for sales team at the end of the season. Manage all projection reports for winter groups, contacting tour operators and lodging partners for current updates. Enter sales numbers from final invoices for groups on a weekly basis.

Help determine overall projected sales numbers for each group. Create and send out group resumes to internal stakeholders. Assist Group Sales and Marketing with coordination of special events.

Serve as an onsite contact, including outside of normal business operating hours. Weekend coverage required. Assist Sales Managers in fulfilling summer or winter comp request.

Support the Steamboat Grand sales team in creation of group lift booking links, guest resolution and reporting for conference business. Provide on-mountain tours to group business, when appropriate. Assist with FAM (familiarization) visits when needed.

Meet with groups/trip leaders in person during their trip when necessary. Daily monitoring of the Group Sales inbox and voicemail. Attend weekly group sales meetings.

Assist Sales Mangers with leads, lodging proposals and RFP's. Create polished sales documents/informational sheets through Publisher, PowerPoint, Word, etc. Assist in the handling of the Steamboat Group Sales Facebook page.

Host both virtual and in-person Western Welcomes. Travel for business, as needed. Other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Must have good communication skills in English including the ability to speak in front of groups of 25 to 200 people. Must be able to travel when needed to group and consumer shows. Travel by vehicle when required, at times in winter driving conditions in Colorado and Wyoming.

Must have a valid driver's license and meet company insurability requirements. Must be able to work nights and weekends. Problem-solving, salesmanship and negotiation skills.

Ability to work independently and well under pressure. Self-reliant and intrinsically motivated. Computer, writing and creativity skills.

Prioritization and organizational skills.

Ability to interact and maintain positive relationships with guests, co-workers and management consistent with SSRC's Service Excellence standards. EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS Formal education or equivalent:

Bachelor's degree preferred. Special coursework: Business, Marketing or Sales preferred.

Prior experience required: Ticket Office or SSRC experience preferred. Knowledge and use of Database (RTP, Inntopia and Delphi) - Run Reports, booking link maintenance and create invoices, manage CRM records.

Knowledge and use of MS Office Products-Design, create excel reports and word memos. The base hourly pay range below represents the low and high end of the Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation's hourly pay range for this position. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel.

The range listed is just one component of Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include many region-specific benefits. Steamboat Springs area base hourly pay range: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Must be able to lift approximately 50 pounds Must be able to stand or walk for long durations of time.

Must be able to work in a seated position in front of a computer for prolonged periods of time.

Must be able to work outside in sometimes inclement weather. Preferable to be able to ski/snowboard at an intermediate/advance level to provide interpretive and terrain guiding tours with groups.
