The 2,400-acre Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort is the premier destination in

Northwest Florida.

Summary

The Group Reservation

Coordinator's primary responsibility is to capture as many group reservations

as possible; by utilizing selling techniques effectively and reaching out to

past guests. The ideal candidate would be courteous, self-motivated and

detail-oriented.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1.Receiving, communicating, coordinating and confirming group

reservations for the Resort.
2.Monitor all group room blocks on a weekly basis to insure

timely release per contracted release date.
3.Review all input, changes, billing requirements, and VIP's

comp allotment with client.
4.Review challenges with group supervisor, client, group sales

manager, and conference services.
5.Coordinate high level information and reservations that may be time sensitive

and must be accurately handled.
6.Communicate both in written and verbal format with all levels of callers

including corporate and leisure group leaders.
7.Prepare professional and accurate reports such as pick up status,

resumes and the like to be distributed to internal and external clients.
8.Make a connection and provide the guest with quality services and

experiences and respond to all guests requests promptly to ensure a positive

guest stay.
9.Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Requirements

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or

university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or

equivalent combination of education and experience.

Knowledge, Skill and Ability Requirements

Language Skills

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short

correspondence, and memos. Ability to

write simple correspondence. Ability to

effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to

customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units

of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent

and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out

detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few

concrete variables in standardized situations.

Computer Skills

This position requires proficiency in all Microsoft Office

software. Also requires previous

experience with hotel management software.

Other Qualifications

Availability

Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort is open and

operational 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Employees are required to be

available to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

License Requirements

Valid

driver's license that has been in effect for at least three years, with no

major violations and no more than two minor violations in the past three

years.

Rules and Regulations

All employees

must adhere to all safety rules and regulations required by local, State and

Federal authorities, wear the appropriate personal protective equipment

necessary to perform the job in a safe manner and will follow all safety rules

per the Company's Safety Policy.

Language Skills

Must be able

to speak, read, write and comprehend the English language.
