U.S. Bank's Global Treasury Management (GTM) business is one of the largest providers of Payments & Cash Management solutions in United States across a diverse base of corporate, public sector, financial institutions, commercial and business banking customers. We are seeking a highly effective and dynamic Senior Product Manager to lead key Digital Transformation efforts within Global Treasury Management. In line with our client's needs for simplicity and ease of use, GTM is working to simplify how clients interact with us by using the latest digital trends. The Senior Product Manager will work in a collaborative agile based team environment with partners across the organization including Sales, Marketing, Risk, Compliance, Technology, Operations to drive and execute on the Digital transformation roadmap. This job would also entail researching on up and coming digital technologies including Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, eSignatures, APIs and their applications within Treasury Management, and coming up with strategic plans to implement cutting edge solutions

The Product Manager will have the opportunity to manage the build out of digital transformation solutions right from inception to go-to-market, including interaction with clients to solicit direct feedback.

The Product Manager will contribute to the growth of GTM business through ideas and solutions based on market research, competitive analysis, customer demand and working in partnership with Sales, Marketing, Technology, Operations, and the rest of the Product Team within Treasury Management. This job will also provide the opportunity to learn different aspects of Treasury Management business including Payables, Receivables, and Liquidity Management, which will help with alignment, integration and data exchange with other GTM offerings to provide a holistic solution to clients and internal partners.

As a key member of the Digital Transformation team, the Product Manager will have the exciting opportunity to make a change in how we digitize and sell our GTM product offerings as well how we implement them more effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be a thought leader and execution partner in contributing to shaping up the overall digital transformation strategy in support of overall GTM strategic roadmap.

  • Drive digital solutions end-to-end, collaborating with partners across the organization

  • Participate in business architecture discussions, regularly propose and discuss solutions to system and product changes

  • Partner with Enterprise teams to evaluate and onboard vendors as needed for building digital solutions within GTM

  • Ensure solutions are built with a "client lens", and solicit client feedback as and when required

  • Ensure solutions are holistic and complement other GTM offerings

  • Ongoing communication and engagement with stakeholders to ensure alignment and collaboration on such initiatives.

  • Define appropriate KPIs and metrics to measure execution success and develop recommendations to advise senior management.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience

  • 10 or more years of product management experience

  • Four or more years of managerial experience

Preferred Skills/Experience
5 years of experience in Banking; preferable Treasury Management

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing or related field or equivalent work experience.

  • Working knowledge of Treasury Management as a business

  • Very strong product development and management skills

  • Excellent knowledge of product/program development, pricing, implementation and strategic analysis.

  • Excellent management, leadership and interpersonal skills.

  • Working knowledge of competitive market, operations and various products and services within Treasury Management.

  • Well-developed oral and written communication skills.

  • Strong financial and competitive analysis and PC skills.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Experience working in Agile based teams

  • Understands current market trends and client expectations/buying behavior in the Treasury space.

  • Successful track record of supporting and leading complex programs in large multi-product organizations.

  • Prior experience in working on in-house and vendor supported products.

  • Understands product costing, P&L management and has extensive worksheet and analytics skills.

  • Can communicate effectively with team members, senior executives and business partners.

  • Works well in a fast paced, cross-functional environment.
