Description The Group Medicare Actuarial Analyst 2, provides actuarial support across a broad range of actuarial and business needs for specific product lines.
The Actuarial Analyst 2, work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action.
Responsibilities The Group Medicare - Actuarial Analyst 2 reviews and analyzes monthly Group Medicare data to provide accurate and timely information for rating, forecasting and reporting needs.
The Analyst 2 also aids in assumptions/tools development for Group Medicare.
The Actuarial Analyst 2 ensures data integrity by developing and executing necessary processes and controls around the flow of data.
Collaborates with stakeholders to understand business needs/issues, troubleshoots problems, conducts root cause analysis, and develops cost effective resolutions for data anomalies.
Works on the development of key assumptions/tools that feed into rating and the forecasting processes.
Required Qualifications + Bachelor's Degree + Successful completion of at least 3 actuarial exams + Meets requirements for Humana's Actuarial Professional Development Program (APDP) + Strong communication
