About the Role

The Supervisor, Internal Legal Production is responsible for the day-to-day operations and management of the legal specialist teams. This position is responsible for managing overall production, production quality, employee development and stakeholder expectations. The role requires knowledge of and ability to implement key concepts like work allocation, process and procedure development, problem solving, capacity planning and dealing with employee performance management cycle. In addition, this position interacts with internal and external customers as well as multiple cross-functional organizations making it critical to be able to develop strong relationships to drive business results. The position reports to Manager, Operations, requires a balanced mix of people, process and project management with a high sense of ownership and drive to deliver breakthrough results.

Knowledge and experience with lean production methods and data analysis is an asset.

  • Analyze business drivers at both the partner and program level to manage and improve performance including the project management of both individual and team initiatives.

  • Execute on employee performance management, including training, coaching, recognition and course correction.

  • Develop program / process strategies and execute against such strategies.

  • Develops and maintains relationship with key partners both internally and externally.

  • Ensure quality and accuracy of all work product, create, set and communicate performance plans to drive results where applicable.

  • Management of direct reports (reporting to the role) # 1-12

  • Responds to escalated consumer issues and identifies potential compliance issues.

Required

  • High School Diploma

  • 1-3 years of experience of Direct People Management experience

  • Proficient in MS Office

  • Program or relationship management skills as well as strong people management skills

Preferred

  • Associates or Higher

  • 1-2 years of experience in Financial Services

  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office, particularly MS Excel

  • Superior verbal and written communication skills

  • Detailed-oriented with demonstrated ability to manage/motivate people
