We are currently hiring a Group Home Manager in Toms River, NJ. The qualified candidate will supervise all aspects of the group home operations (i.e., staff supervision, on-call, and spot checks)
Job Responsibilities of a Group Home Manager:
Supervise all aspects of the group home.
Plan and conduct staff meetings and trainings.
Conduct interviews and observations, provide feedback, and complete employee evaluations.
Share on-call responsibilities with the group home Assistant Manager.
Uphold agency and licensing regulations.
Responsible for creating staff scheduling
Assist with scheduling doctor's appointments.
Responsible for program and client finances
Assists and supervises in activities of daily living skills
Administer or assist with prescribed medication.
Light housekeeping
Assist with transportation
Assist in the implementation of individual goals and objectives.
Data entry using Therap (EHR)
Assist residents in pursuing recreational, social, and community activities based on their preferences and individual plans.
Job Requirements:
HS diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred
Experience as a supervisor and working with people with disabilities
A valid driver's license in good standing & must be insurable through NJID's automobile insurance
Strong organizational and communication skills
NO certification required
Position Details:
Location: Toms River County: Ocean
Hours Per Work Week: 40 Weekly Work Schedule: Mon. 10am-6pm; Tues. 9am-5pm; Wed. & Thurs.12pm-8pm & Fri. 9am-5pm.
Other shifts are available at this location.
