Grow you career as a Group Build Specialist within Apple Leisure Group. You will focus on providing support to the Groups Sales and Service Teams and play an important role in helping provide exceptional customer service across all ALG Brands. You will be responsible to accurately execute group dashboards, group add ones, system troubleshooting and investigate the rate discrepancies. You will work closely and align with your team lead and manager to seek out system efficiencies and possibilities for enhancement.
A successful Group Build Specialist will:
Build and test contracted group inventory in the group system
Build and test pricing components for contracted groups
Align with service team as group inventory or pricing needs to be updated in the dashboard
Ensure new groups are documented correctly for tracking
Ensure space is cancelled in a timely manner once communicated by sales and service teams
Attend training sessions to build or maintain product knowledge, including processes and terms and conditions
Consistently provide feedback and ideas to further streamline our process
Set a great example by being a top performer and consistently receiving positive marketplace feedback by providing high-level customer service
Work closely with sales & service on their unique groups to implement changes to their groups in a timely manner
Pro-actively work with leaders and team members to ensure dashboards and service requests are completed within 24-42hrs.
Align closely with teammates to problem solve and support each other's workload
Be flexible in supporting different projects throughout the day as priorities change
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or at least one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Ability to multi-task and stay organized
Must possess excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain strong relationships both internally and externally
Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and staff to contribute to results driven and team oriented environment
Proficient in both Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
Customer Service Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services and evaluation of customer satisfaction
