Grow your career as a Group Audit Specialist with Apple Leisure Group. As a member of the Group Operations Audit Team you will work alongside others to play a supporting role in the full contract auditing process. You will help track and bridge the life of a group between the Group Sales and Service Teams. The Audit Team is responsible for a wide range of tasks all of equal value and importance; Confirmed group contracts, internal reporting, payables, group cancellations, and maintaining of hotel concessions and polices. The Group Operations Audit Team requires someone that can excel in an environment that is both back stage and front stage and has a passion for a high-level of customer service.
A successful Group Audit Specialist will:
Build & test contracted group inventory in the group system
Create payment reservations for each contracted group built in the system
Ensure new groups are documented correctly for tracking and reporting needs
Ensure held space is cancelled in a timely manner once communicated by sales and service teams
Audit contracted groups and ensure contracts are being sent out error free
Provide feedback to team leaders in regards to hotel and airline specific policies that need to be addressed
Review and maintain hotel concessions and policies within internal sales system, ARM.
Attend training sessions to build or maintain product knowledge, including processes and terms and conditions
Be cross-trained to other areas of the audit and implementation team in order to support as workload changes
Interact with travel agents and consumers as questions arise and additional support is needed
Take pride and strive for excellence in responding same day to all communications and phone calls
Align closely with teammates to problem solve and support each other's workload
Be flexible in supporting different projects throughout the day as priorities change
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or at least one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Knowledge of systems such as Microsoft Office and other office procedures and terminology
Customer Service Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services and evaluation of customer satisfaction
Ability to multi-task and stay organized
Must possess excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain strong relationships both internally and externally
Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and staff to contribute to results driven and team oriented environment
Proficient in both Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
Demonstrated commitment to the use of methods and procedures to standardize and streamline operations, identify and implement cost-savings and process improvements.
Strong ability to efficiently navigate through various computer screens and programs
