You are the head of the account team leading them to be the experts in the clients' business. The Group Account Director is responsible for managing their account team and ensuring they are shaping and delivering effective strategies and marketing programs that deliver transformative results for the client. You inspire your team, clients, and colleagues to great ideas and delivery of great work. You are the face of the agency, embodying and representing our reputation and work both internally and externally. You push the Agency to deliver beyond the "ask" and are forward-thinking, leading the client and the agency team to greater and greater results.


  • Manages the oversight and development of strategic plans to maintain and grow our customer relationships and revenue

  • Leads account teams in partnering with customers to understand their business needs and objectives

  • Effectively communicates the value proposition of our services and teaches others to do the same

  • Consistently forecast client's needs and delivers innovative ideas and strategic leadership on new mission critical initiatives

  • Serves as a member of the agency's leadership team coordinating processes and practices with other department leads to grow the agency and ensure collective success


  • Partners with department leads to create innovative ways to impact the client's business results

  • Understands the business model and key drivers of the client's success

  • Leads the development of account management team's marketing communications plans, (coordinating with the strategy team as needed) ensuring plans are strategically sound and imaginative

  • Partners with Planning leadership to ensure account and planning teams are working together to form insights into the category, competitive environment, brand health and customer needs

  • Relentlessly applies insights across the business and drives the team to do the same

  • Works continually to maximize marketing results and create new opportunities

  • Inspires team to deliver work that is breakthrough, strategically sound, impactful and transformative

  • Serves as a continuous advisor to your team to ensure everyone executes the work effectively and smoothly and serves as point of escalation for both internal teams and clients in solving challenges

  • Serves as the champion for the agency's POV - partners internally to shape the work, craft selling strategies, and sell and defend work to clients on all key initiatives

  • Ensures consistent, successful delivery of deliverables on time and on budget


  • Ensures the agency operates on a solid foundation by building strong, impenetrable senior client relationships and trains and leads others to do the same

  • Possesses an in-depth understanding of client business issues, industry, competitors and brands and guides team members in how to do the same

  • Serves as key advisor to clients on marketing and business issues

  • Communicates effectively building credibility with senior and executive clients

  • Easily builds rapport and trust with others

  • Constantly attuned to the evolving needs of clients

  • Viewed as a strong leader by agency and network colleagues

  • Integrates seamlessly with agency executives to facilitate collaboration and innovation

  • Develops and implements career development paths and plans for the account team


  • Passionately defends, grows and manages key accounts

  • Leads account managements partnership with Finance to manage the financial health of account(s), including revenue, growth, profitability and delivery of forecasts

  • Has a keen sense of the financial implications of business decisions

  • Helps account team identify organic growth opportunities and leads the development of account growth plans

  • Allocates resources effectively, balancing client needs with profitability

  • Recruits talent that raises the bar on creativity and quality


  • Supports the Executive team in the development and implementation of various agency initiatives

  • Partners with the Leadership Team in the development of new business proposals and pitches


  • 5+ years experience in Management, Business, and/or Leadership

  • Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree

  • Client relationships experience

  • Excellent Communication and Writing skills

  • MS Office Suite, Adobe, email experience

Clinical applications-including all technical training of THPG providers and THPG clinical staff. Clinical skills-related to specific patient care tech, medical assistant and LVN duties. Provides leadership in the development of educational strategy, curriculum, training goals and objectives. Makes recommendations on educational policies, procedures and curriculum to the THPG Leadership Team. Utilizing integrated PMS/EHR knowledge and learning strategies, the Director sets THPG's training strategy and provides insightful project planning and direction, as well as responds to escalated operational issues. Manages the delivery of training programs to meet regulatory, system and operational needs. Oversees all aspects of the training lifecycle to include, but not limited to, performance of training programs/staff, resource management, educational materials and consultation and communication with key stakeholders. Responsible for the development and day-to-day management of training team members and direct reports. Leads THPG efforts to identify and coordinate the design of learnings to support critical THPG strategies; develops and delivers appropriate training solutions for diverse audiences in ILT, virtual, eLearning and blended venues/platforms. Mentors, leads and coaches staff to ensure the skills of the team are aligned to the learning and development needs of THPG. Develops and communicates strategies and solutions related to business operations, clinical application and staff clinical skills. Designs and monitors metrics to ensure execution consistency, knowledge retention, standardization and accountability. Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications Education Bachelor's Degree in Education or related field required Experience 6 years related work experience in adult education, and healthcare/clinic operations. Experience should include a minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience and experience planning and implementing instructional programs appropriate for adults and developing computer-based learning programs Experience working in healthcare with a comprehensive knowledge of insurance terminology, provider billing and access operations, and medical insurance plans and experience with Epic's suite of Ambulatory clinical and Professional Billing applications is preferred. Credentialed in Epic as well as other training/educational certifications is preferred Licenses and Certifications Credentialed in Ambulatory; Prelude/Cadence and Resolute Professional Billing required within 90 days of hire. Skills Thorough knowledge of adult education principles, personnel supervision, curriculum development and program evaluation techniques. Credentialed in Epic highly desirable Knowledge of THPG clinical and operational workflows, as well as policy and procedures is beneficial Well respected by peers and management and viewed as a trusted resource.
