Groundskeeper, Multiple Positions (260 Days)

• Performs duties required for the position using good safety workmanship

• Follows the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor, Leadperson or Department Head in completing assigned work

• Performs all activities using good safety practices. Manages routine work activities using good safety practices

• Operates district vehicles when needed using good safety practices

• Operates hand/power equipment required in the craft

• Maintains tools, equipment, and supplies assigned

• Requests supervisory assistance in areas in which expertise is lacking

• Selects and uses the proper tools and equipment required for the assigned work

• Performs all other tasks and duties as assigned

• All federally funded incumbents of this position must comply with time and effort reporting requirements through personnel activity reports or periodic certification, as appropriate

• Accredited High School Diploma or U.S.A. equivalency preferred

• One (1) year of directly related experience

• Ability to obtain a Texas driver's license and a driving record that meets the District's standard for operation of motor vehicles

• Basic literacy, including command of the English language

• Must possess the physical ability to meet the requirements of the position

• Knowledge of District organizations and operations as required

• Dependable work experience preferred

• Must be able to pass the Dallas ISD random drug test

Minimum Salary with Driver's License: $19.06

Minimum Salary without Driver's License: $17.32
