Unit Description

SODEXO has an exciting opportunity for a Grounds Manger 2 in the Kansas City, MO area.

Position Summary:

Reporting to the Director of Facilities you will be responsible for planning, organizing and managing the daily activities of all grounds and landscaping services staff. Duties include:

  • Establish and continuously review performance standards, goals and objectives to ensure quality;

  • Manage seasonal plantings and pesticide applications;

  • Work closely with athletic dept. to prepare and maintain athletic fields;

  • Ensuring all grounds equipment is maintained to a safe and serviceable condition and workshop facilities are kept clean and tidy.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2+ years' experience in grounds and/or landscape management;

  • Minimum 1 year in Management/ supervisory role;

  • strong knowledge base on planting, growing and maintaining grass lawns, plants, and shrubbery in commercial/institutional setting preferred;

  • Herbicide license required;

  • Experience working with and maintaining sports fields preferred;

  • Excellent leadership, communication and customer service skills.

Position Summary

Provides supervision for grounds maintenance and landscape development services at account/unit to ensure client satisfaction and retention for the Company.

Fulfills contractual obligations to the client.

Key Duties-Driving the Zero Harm mindset

  • Plans projects, including defining objectives, methods, timetables and budget to support client and Sodexo strategic plan

  • Supervises day-to-day work activities by delegating authority, assigning and prioritizing activities and monitoring operating standards

  • Ensures compliance with all federal, state and local regulations as well as Sodexo/client policies and procedures (e.g. quality assurance, safety, operations, personnel).

  • Manages the budget by controlling costs (e.g. labor, inventory, equipment, materials), complying with budget requirements and making adjustments when necessary.

  • Establishes operating standards, implements quality improvements and communicates them to employees.

Responsibilities Position: Medical Assistant 2 Assignment: Partners in Primary Care Location: Grandview MO or Overland Park KS The Medical Assistant 2 performs clinical duties such as discussing symptoms and gathering and inputting information into the electronic medical records system, taking vital signs, giving injections, performing diagnostic tests, collecting specimens, drawing blood, sterilizing and cleaning equipment, and maintaining examination rooms at an outpatient care site. Collaborates closely with Physicians and Nurses. Delivers direct patient care dependent on what active certification allows. Decisions are typically focus on methods, tactics and processes for completing administrative tasks/projects. Regularly exercises discretion and judgment in prioritizing requests and interpreting and adapting procedures, processes and techniques, and works under limited guidance due to previous experience/breadth and depth of knowledge of administrative processes and organizational knowledge. Required Qualifications * High school diploma or equivalent GED * Active Medical Assistant Certificate as a Certified Medical Assistant/CMA or as a Registered Medical Assistant/RMA OR professional experience as a Medical Assistant with the ability to complete a Humana approved certification within one year from hire date (Please note if you are currently certified, some CMA and RMA programs may still require completion of Humana approved certification program) * Experience with MS Outlook * Basic Computer knowledge * CPR certification * Must be a team player with excellent communication skills * Willingness to learn and be cross trained in other roles based on business need * This role is within a clinical office setting, Monday-Friday, 8-5:00pm * This role is considered patient facing and is part of Humana's Tuberculosis (TB) screening program.
