Assists customers during their shopping experience

  • Greet, Offer, & Thank all customers

Functional Requirement:

  • Physical: walking, bending, kneeling, able to reach, lift, stack and maneuver objects of varying dimensions and weighing up to 50 lbs., equipment operation (intercom, telephone, scanner, register, scale)
  • Mental: judgment/decision making, social skills/verbal interaction, memorization, reading, writing, & math

Maintaining a neat and organized store appearance

  • Facing forward product in the aisles and displays

  • Ensures aisles are clear of debris at all times

  • Cleaning shelves and racking as needed

  • Compacts cardboard, stacks pallets, stores and organizes overstock

  • Planning creative merchandising strategies for our seasonal merchandise

Daily supervision of store policies and procedures

  • Develop effective daily/weekly work plans

  • Adherence to Hornbacher's Food Safety Practices

  • Utilize sales projections, budgeted labor goals, & previous operating results to optimize store performance

  • Manage the department receiving, invoices, pricing, and inventory to ensure proper product control and that gross profit goals are met

  • Supervising, ordering, scheduling, and being responsible for the overall condition of the department

VIEW JOBS 3/25/2020 12:00:00 AM 2020-06-23T00:00 POSITION SUMMARY: Assist in planning, organizing and implementing the Wanzek Safety Program at utility scale solar construction projects while ensuring compliance with federal, state and corporate environmental, health and safety regulations. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Safety: * Spend 60% of time in the field, if unable, communicate this to the Senior Environmental Safety & Health Manager * Provide Safety Leadership creating enthusiasm and participation among management and craft workers, resulting in excellent safety performance * Participate in the jobsite R4 Safety Committee as required and monitor results for presentation to site management * Attend the weekly general safety meeting, weekly supervisor's safety meeting, and daily Gang box meetings Communicate between Wanzek and client management regarding safety matters * Maintain jobsite first aid and emergency response supplies * Administer drug and alcohol testing on site * Input and review incident reports * Monitor all site safety reports and maintain site bulletin board for postings. * Track, compile and present leading indicator statistics to the project leadership team * Chair or assist in site safety committee meeting and R4 meetings, review R4 documents and present info to management Compliance: * Identify workplace safety hazards and take all necessary steps to assist site management in corrective action to eliminate or minimize them. Document actions on daily activity report * Implement the Zero Injury System of safety excellence on the projects * Understand and implement safety policies and procedures * Understand all environmental permitting regulations and measures to ensure compliance * Implement the company environmental program and perform weekly inspections as required * Understand all environmental permitting regulations and measures to ensure compliance * Participate in site inspections and testing as necessary and compile DFR in timely fashion * Review safety program documentation, record keeping, document posting, trenching and scaffold permitting and regulatory compliance documentation * Assist in planning and implementing a Hazard Communication Program in compliance with federal, state, and Wanzek policies, including a hazardous materials list, MSDS file, container labeling, employee training, and subcontractor communications * Present safety emphasis to site employees as identified * Participate in and lead emergency responses * Maintain Site Metrics and share with site and corporate management Planning: * Assist management in writing, organizing and implementing the job site safety plans * Work directly with Project Manager and management team to develop, implement and maintain an effective site-specific safety plan * Work with Safety Department on overall program, project training needs, injury management, citation management, OSHA/MSHA reporting requirements and other applicable matters * Oversee the Wanzek injury management program, set up a working relationship with a local physician, explaining the Wanzek philosophy of managing accidents and provide for basic first aid Training: * Coordinate and present safety training to support Wanzek and client requirements. Topics may include Planning, Documentation, New Hire Orientation, Fall Protection, Confined Space, Lockout/Tagout, Respiratory, etc. EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: * Minimum of 2 years of construction safety management experience and have demonstrated the ability to provide a high level of safety leadership to both management and craft workers * A high school diploma or GED is required * Must possess OSHA Construction 30-hour card and/or OSHA General Industry 30-hour card KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: * Take reasonable care of your own and other's health and safety and of those who may be affected by the day-to-day delivery of this role by taking personal responsibility for working toward Wanzek's Zero Injury principles * Functional computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel * Type and write reports with accuracy and appropriate grammar * Communication and report writing * Oversee and manage all aspects of a safety program on highly complex industrial projects, * Knowledge of MSHA/OSHA regulations and hazard recognition, record keeping and injury management * CPR/First Aid Instructor certification and training experience * Work towards Professional certification (CHST, CMSP, etc.) MasTec, Inc. is an equal employment opportunity employer.
