The Grip Specialist will help execute efficient and creative lighting setups for internal training content at Ford Motor Company.
What you'll do...
The Grip Specialist will help execute efficient and creative lighting setups for internal training content at Ford Motor Company. The candidate will have the opportunity to push creative boundaries in making engaging content. Alongside the Lighting Specialist, the role allows for input from pre-production to production, contributing ideas for: a strong workflow, improvement from previous shoots, and new and innovative ways to provide the best quality to our content.
The execution of grip setups, car rigging, lighting plans/lighting diagrams
Creatively envision new and exciting ways to support/grip training content
Utilize the tried and true techniques to light vehicles, extremely mindful of reflections and highlights
Guide Production Utilities to operate the lighting and grip safely and efficiently
This candidate will have the opportunity to shape light for videos at Ford and Lincoln. They will also be able to flex their creative thinking skills by pitching ideas during creative design meetings. The candidate is a highly motivated self-starter. They must be a team player who thinks positively, even when hurdles and unexpected obstacles arise. This candidate ideally understands how flexible productions operate. This person should have a passion for new technology in lighting and gripping. They should deeply value safety, and understand the importance of creating safe filming sets.
