Grill Cook

Start your new career as a Grill Cook with MAU at our client in Anderson, SC. As a Grill Cook, you will prepare menu items for the facility's cafeteria, patients, and catered functions.

What We Offer

• $15.00 per hour

• 1st shift, 5:30 AM - 2:00 PM, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, and 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM

• Rotating shifts, every other weekend as required

• 3 - 6 months of on-the-job training

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or GED, preferred)

• 2+ years of experience in a restaurant or institution in a similar role with a large volume, preferred

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Knowledge of and the ability to manage simple mathematical calculations, including recipe and food item measurements and portions

• Current ServSafe Certification, preferred

What You'll Do as a Grill Cook

• Prepare food items for the facility cafeteria, patients, and catered events

• Set up the cafeteria and patient tray line before opening

• Prepare all needed items for the following day

• Assemble patient trays per nutritional requirements

• Prepare special order items

• Assist with catering functions

• Perform other tasks as assigned
