This On Call position may include evening, weekend and holiday hours.
The Animal Services Greeter is responsible for greeting all the shelter's visitors. This individual will be providing the public with information as it relates to the shelter's adoption application process including checking in at the front desk, interacting with the animals they are interested in adopting and coming back to the front desk to fill out the necessary paperwork.
While this individual will primarily be stationed at the Front Desk, they will need to have an understanding on the shelter's operations to direct citizens to the correct department within the organization. This is an On Call position with no County employee benefits and no guranteed work schedule or number of hours per week.

Representative Duties
Greet customers
Direct foot traffic
Explain adoption process
Explain lost/found pet process & reports
Complete adoption bags for cats and dogs
Maintain supplies at the check-in station/greeter drawer
Maintain and sanitize digital check-in stations
Answer questions for citizens
Communicate with kennel using radio for lost pets, interaction, etc.
Other duties as assigned

Salary Information
$15.30/hour
