Responsible for performing research and providing insights regarding the supply and demand market, inventory research, market trends, supply-chain research, competitors, potential and existing customers, etc. focused on Greater China market.

  • Assisting with competitive research, marketing performance measurement and reporting.
  • Perform extensive market research.
  • Determine brand perceptions and reputations.
  • Expanding upon new lead lists by visiting carrier, vendor, and association websites to find new leads.
  • Working with the Marketing team, Sales team and Analyst team with all aspects of lead generation initiatives including data sets management
  • Identify positive financial outcomes to increase profitability.
  • Create databases and capture market data.
  • Assisting in archiving prospect updates, activities, and competitive information focused on supply
  • Helping cost management with reporting and data facilitation
  • Keeping current on web browsing techniques that will make duties more efficient
  • Performing other tasks on projects as needed/assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or higher degree, or its equivalent
  • Must be able to do all of these tasks above in both English and Chinese
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
  • Fluent in written and spoken Chinese

Let's disrupt this $2 trillion industry together. True Fit, named a Top Place to Work, is looking for a Fit Research Analyst to work in our downtown Boston office. What we do: This position is part of the Analytics group in the Science department. The Analytics group works closely with customer-success, engineering, and other groups at True Fit providing custom and complex analytics. For example: * Detection and investigation of complex data quality issues; ongoing advanced data quality assurance * Supporting the development of new products * Creation of customer success metrics * Ad-hoc analytics (customer analytics, internal reporting etc.) * Working with internal technical and non-technical groups to ensure account success What you will do: * Analyze the output of our fit algorithms to ensure we maintain the highest quality recommendations * Investigate patterns in the data to identify underlying issues * Propose and create tools to find, resolve, and prevent problems. * Build, refine, and combine large data sets of different types from disparate sources. * Participate in the development and prototyping of new analytic products to evaluate and optimize apparel and footwear fit. * Extract insight about retail consumer behavior and report on findings to both internal teams and True Fit partner brands and retailers. Required Experience/Skills: * Education and/or experience in a quantitative field (minimum of Bachelor's degree) * Working knowledge of data analytics and statistics. * Experience using SQL and Python (familiarity with a statistical programming package, such as Pandas or other analysis libraries is a plus). * Knowledge of data analysis, statistics, and mathematical modeling. * Strong investigative and problem-solving skills. * Customer-facing aptitude and the ability to work with tight deadlines and under pressure. * Strong English communication skills. * Willingness to learn new tools, methods, and skills as they become needed.
