Graphic Designer (Packaging) needed in SF! Are you an experience Graphic Designer who's created attractive packaging for beauty or premium CPG brands?

Are you a Graphic Designer who's a pro who's immediately available to hit the ground running? If so, my friends and I at the Creative Group are seeking a contract Graphic Designer for an onsite, 2-month contract in San Francisco. This Graphic Designer role is coverage where you'd be designing the look, feel and overall aesthetic of our beauty client's packaging. This is a great Packaging Designer contract opportunity as there is potential for contract extension through (and, potentially, beyond) the holiday season!

While beauty experience is highly preferred, our client is open to strong visual designers who are game for a fast moving contract with a stand out brand! Seeking Graphic Designers with: ? 2-3+ years designing packaging, especially branding and aesthetic (not looking for packaging engineer) ? Previous experience in cosmetics, beauty or a premium CPG brand ? Intermediate to Advance skills in Adobe CS ? You will help us look to the future by creating a new generation manufacturing and distribution center. You are a planner at heart and you will be scoping and executing projects like implementing sanitary food grade processing, high-speed packaging systems, equipment upgrades and more! Whether it's trouble shooting on the line, designing process controls, or training our teams, you are a fanatic about making our operations more productive and you do so with a holistic (and fun!) approach. As our operation continues to grow more complex so do the challenges we face, and you get tickled silly to help solve even the most complicated problems. AND, each solution you implement will support our high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. SUCCESS FACTORS (First 12-24 Months) * Facility Relocation (AKA "The Move"): Torani's operation has relocated under one roof! Our new plant and warehouse operations are set up, new syrup processes are on line and packaging machines are starting to purr with productivity. All of this was possible because you had the right inputs from internal and external teams, and a thorough project plan that addresses every point of the transition from plant design, startup & validation, communication, training, and a strategy to overcome setbacks we may face along the way. * Process Engineering: Our batching and blending systems are working harmoniously as designed and start up as planned! You will have completed machine mapping, troubleshooting, and validation on all of our equipment. Programs are in place to start up and validate control logic against design specifications. You provide ongoing support to our production teams through upset conditions and are providing technical improvements to correct each situation and prevent them in the future. * Packaging Systems: Our packaging systems clean, fill, label and package finished product containers to quality and productivity specifications. Work with and ensure venders deliver against their performance requirements. You've developed processes and trainings to adjust our operation for new packaging. Our team operating & maintaining the packaging systems enjoy working with you to make sure our machines purr with happiness! * Project Manager: Project plans are in place and executed on for our big move, processing systems, packaging line installations, and more! You have set the bar when it comes to your approach to, and leadership in building comprehensive project plans that unite teams. Every project has the right inputs, reasonable timelines, aligned resources, a communication plan, and assesses training needs before being implemented. * Have FUN MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & ATTRIBUTES: * 5 to 10 years Process Engineering experience in the Food and Beverage industry * B.S. Chemical Engineering preferred, B.S. Mechanical or Electrical Engineering * Project Management experience with projects of at least $5 Million and larger * Based in SF Bay area or willing to relocate at own expense * Eligible to work in US without sponsorship (now & in the future) * Fluent in written & verbal English * Proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel, and Powerpoint * Experience with Design and Scale up of Ingredient Processing Systems * Experience with High Speed Packaging Lines * Conceptual and Detailed equipment design * Sanitary GMP Food Plant Design * Strong trouble shooting skills in a manufacturing plant environment * Safe Quality Food standards and implementation * Has worked with maintenance systems such as 5S, Lean 6 Sigma, Total Productive Maintenance, Predictive Maintenance, etc * Experience with Wonderware or other MES software systems * Some knowledge of CAD * Experience working with production and supply chain efficiency metrics * Experience working with a large ERP system (i.e. Oracle, SAP, etc) a plus Torani South San Francisco CA
