Media IP team is looking for senior technical individual to support Power and Performance validation using simulators as well as hardware emulation platforms like Zebu.

The Graphics Validation Engineer would be a bridge between Architecture and design teams along with validation pipeline thereby getting exposure of IP development cycle right from the Architecture definition to the product freeze.

Individual is required to be hands-on to various development and debug activities including emulation model builds, debug capabilities and offerings to fast track Performance And Power validation.

A good understanding of emulation platforms, transaction level modeling [TLM] in Bus Functional Models [BFMs], low power design, energy estimation, data flow and systematic debug approach is key.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Education Requirement:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or any related STEM degree plus 6+ years of industry work experience, or

Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or any related STEM degree plus 4+ years of industry work experience, or

PhD degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or any related STEM degree plus 2+ years of industry work experience.

Minimum Required Qualifications (all of the following):

• Hardware verification engineering or a related field

• Experience with System Verilog, Verilog

• Experience with industry-standard emulation tools like Cadence Palladium, Synopsys Zebu, or Mentor Veloce

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with industry-standard simulation tools like Cadence Incisive, Synopsys VCS, or Mentor Questa

• Familiarity with knowledge of Power Artist, PTPX [Prime Power RTL, empower]

• Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, Perl, or TCL for automation tasks

• Knowledge of verification metrics, coverage analysis, and closure techniques

• Knowledge of verification methodologies like Assertion-Based Verification (ABV), Formal Verification

• Verification IP (VIP) and integrating into the verification environment
