Position Summary

Were on the hunt for a multi-disciplined Graphic Designer to join an exceptional marketing team. Must have tremendous drive and an obsession to create. As Pet Food Experts Graphic Designer, youll be responsible for principal design on various projects including social media content, banner ads, GIFs, signage, emails, posters, infographics, presentations, reports, swag, collateral, and more. Youll be exposed to all types of business challenges that will require your creativity. Youll have the opportunity to be exposed to new ideas and possibilities, allowing you to continue to grow professionally. Where you'll work

This role is based out of our headquarters offices in downtown Pawtucket, RI. Our in office schedule is hybrid based and designed to encourage collaboration and relationship building. The hours for this role are Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5pm.

What you'll be doing

• Support the marketing team in executing and ideating creative concepts, design, and production of emails, collateral, signage, digital marketing, communication materials, banner ads, social media content, experiential, and campaigns.

• Develop concepts that will help drive brand affinity to support business objectives. While following brand guidelines. Specifically colors, typefaces, photography, and graphic styles.

• Ensure all work adheres to Pet Food Experts voice and visual style.

• Ability to take ownership of projects, handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and accommodate quick turnarounds. Managing work with outside agencies and contract workers as needed.

• Must be organized, able to use project management software, and clearly communicate with project managers and stakeholders.

• Lead projects from conception through delivery.

• Opportunity to learn testing and how to translate customer data into effective creative concepts and design practices.

What you'll need to succeed

• BA in Digital Design (preferred) or Graphic Design.

• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in digital and design work.

• A solid online portfolio showcasing creative design solutions.

• Knowledge of emerging technologies.

• Skilled in the Adobe Creative Suite and Canva.

• Experience with and understanding of UX, UI, and responsive design.

• Solid understanding of advertising and marketing principles.

• Able to function both independently and in a collaborative team environment.

• Strong design, sensibility, attention to detail and creative problem-solving and accountability.

• Exceptional teamwork skills, able to work in a fast-paced, high-productivity environment under tight deadlines

• Strong typography skills.

• Ability to think creatively, strategically, and technically, and the ability to efficiently manage multiple projects simultaneously.

What we're looking for

• Bachelors Degree in Digital Design/Graphic Design or related field of study of equivalent work

experience.

• 5+ years working as a professional graphic designer, digital and print experience preferred.

• Experience in Adobe Creative Suite to execute projects. Photoshop Illustrator, InDesign, Canva.

• A strong portfolio of design demonstrating a deep understanding of typography, color, and layout.

• Desire to become a strong and supportive member of a dynamic creative team.

• Extremely strong attention to detail.

• Flexibility and ability to adapt to changes quickly; always willing to roll up sleeves and get things done.

• Insatiable drive and willingness to get out of your comfort zone.

• Strong technical skills.

• Self-starter with strong interpersonal skills who works well within a team and independently as needed.
