New York based entertainment company seeking a freelance Graphic Designer for an On-site Freelance Opportunity.

The graphic designer will collaborate closely with Art Director in assisting the development and creation of digital and print materials in service of the company s many websites, events, advertising campaigns, internal communications, and high-level, multimedia presentations. Duties include: design high-quality visuals, develop exciting animated PowerPoint presentations, visually translate business ideas, assist ad sales articulate messaging in a visual way and attend meetings both internally and offsite at production houses, event venues, etc.


Bachelor s Degree in Graphic Design, Communications Design, a related field and/or equivalent training or work experience.
Expertise in Microsoft PowerPoint
Expertise Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop.
Experience in data visualization
A portfolio featuring a wide range of projects, showcasing a strong understanding of type and composition, and the ability to approach projects/brand identity in a creative and innovative way.

Job Summary This position is responsible for updating and editing offering memorandums, proposals and marketing packages for commercial real estate using Adobe Creative Suite. Main Responsibilities * Create high-quality documents (primarily using InDesign), focusing on layout, aesthetic design, graphic, and infographic creation. Materials to include, but not limited to; print and interactive collateral such as proposals, offering memoranda (30-100 page books), flyers, maps, aerials, logos, floor plans, and infographics. * Raise the level of company marketing materials by thinking critically and developing new ideas and concepts. * Convert verbal and written input from the transaction team to simple, but attractive, graphical illustrations. * Prepare graphic content for e-mail campaigns and correspondence. * Stay informed of marketing/design trends both inside and outside of the real estate industry and apply new concepts and presentations to our business. * Work additional hours as necessary to properly service our clients. * Other duties as assigned. Experience Required * Minimum of 4 years of high volume graphic design work. * Intimate knowledge, expert mastery, and consistent use of Adobe Creative Suite, specifically InDesign. * Be able to take a project from ideation to completion, including preparing files for print. * Working knowledge of commercial real estate industry is a plus. * Ability to use tact and diplomacy when interacting with others. * Exceptional organization and time management skills. * Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. * Ability to work in a fast paced environment. * Team oriented personality possessing the traits of humility, openness, and creativity with the understanding that the Team's success comes before any individual's personal ambitions. * Well-developed verbal, listening, written, and analytical skills. * Excellent interpersonal communication skills. * Ability to be an independent worker with a team player attitude. * High level of energy and enthusiasm. Education * Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design. Computer Skills * Must have advanced working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Acrobat) on a PC platform. * Additional experience with Outlook, Word, Excel (Office 2010 version), Power Point. * Your portfolio must demonstrate the ability to design multi-page projects from concept to completion.
