Job Duties and Responsibilities
Dish Technologies is the technical division of Dish responsible for creating new consumer products, SlingStudio (myslingstudio.com) and AirTV (airtv.net) and is looking for a versatile graphic designer to deliver a wide range of creative for both brands. Working with the Senior Designer and Creative Manager, the graphic designer will be responsible for delivering highly impactful digital and print creative in a fast-paced environment, such as: digital ads, website graphics, brochures, product imagery and tradeshow graphics. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, well organized and able to thrive in deadline driven environment; managing competing, high-priority projects while identifying creative solutions quickly and have the ability to self-direct.
Primary responsibilities include:
Concept, design, and create advertising that clearly communicates abstract marketing ideas and technical information to our customers.
Create print, packaging and digital assets with brand consistency for use in corporate websites, email, social media, and tradeshow events.
Utilize data and analytics to provide direction for websites and other digital creative.
Organize and upload professional, files for partners and vendors
Work cross-functionally with designers, marketing, and web teams to ensure brand consistency.
Brings projects from concept to completion, doing everything possible to ensure their success.
Skills - Experience and Requirements
The successful Graphic Designer II will have:
3-5 years of experience in graphic design and bachelor's in graphic design or related field or an equivalent combination of experience and education
Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), Adobe Acrobat, and MS Office. Understanding of social media platforms and best practices for uploading digital ads and video.
Must have a strong technical aptitude, excellent creative, oral, and written communication skills, and the ability to clearly communicate technical information to a non-technical audience.
Must be flexible, innovative, and have the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced, growth-oriented, and time-critical environment.
