This position will create and produce visual communications for internal and external audiences for H&R Block. The Designer will need to develop ideas, think creatively, provide layouts for approval and submit final creative that is brand compliant for customized marketing materials for H&R Block offices worldwide.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Generate creative materials in a timely manner to help market H&R Block products and financial services.
Design a wide range of marketing collateral including client acquisition direct mail, merchandising, brochures, flyers, billboards, training/education materials, logos, etc.
Must be willing to take direction and revise design and content to meet the needs of target audiences and internal clients.
Implement brand graphic standards in all marketing materials to maintain brand consistency and integrity.
Prepare files for the print production processes, ensuring production timelines are met in a deadline sensitive environment.
Archive art files and photography consistent with department guidelines.
Coordinate with internal clients and marketing partners to determine and meet creative needs. Develop graphics and layouts for products, logos, presentations and more.
Collaborate effectively with marketing managers, franchisees and associates across the organization. Serve as a marketing resource to the department and other departments.
Manage tight deadlines, shifting priorities and last-minute requests.
This position will work under direct supervision of the Art Director.
Other duties as assigned.
Excellent technical understanding and past experience with Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator.
Creative ability, layout and graphic design skills.
Ability to multi-task and prioritize to meet deadlines.
Self-starter with effective oral, written, and interpersonal skills.
Strong detail orientation to ensure accuracy of work and legal compliance.
Ability to closely collaborate with design team and internal partners as well as work autonomously.
5 years' experience in the discipline agency experience preferred
Familiarity with franchise, multi-unit retail, financial services, and/or seasonal business is beneficial but not required.
Candidates must present a current portfolio.
Understanding and previous use of a Windows-based computer system.
