Graphic Designer Brand Specialist
NantHealth is seeking a graphic designer with broad experience in brand creation and marketing communication. This unique individual will focus his/her creative energy on brand identity, campaign development and the creation of a broad range of marketing collateral and assets. This outgoing, self-managing creative problem solver will require the skills to interact across organizations, think quickly on their feet, and address challenges across all levels of design. Responsibilities will include hands-on work, project and schedule management, mentoring of junior staff and oversight of internal and agency projects.
Marketing support will include the creation of print and digital assets to communicate marketing campaigns on line, in print, trade shows as well as internal and external presentations. In this position, he/she will be involved with various strategic initiatives including website development, social media, design strategy and program management. She/he has an impeccable understanding of design, layout, color and typography. Attention to detail is a must, as well as the ability to work fluidly in a fast-paced environment and think holistically on brand-focused initiatives around our mission to transform healthcare. Also, a strong understanding of campaign development, including email, web advertising, and social media is required along with solid communication skills for effective customer and stakeholder management.
Collaborate closely and effectively with marketing teams, product planning, and other key stakeholders to support communication activates that align to a strategic vision and meets business objectives.
Develop conceptual sketches, storyboards, or high-fidelity compositions to effectively communicate proposed visuals and layouts that reflect marketing stories and strategy.
Create amazing presentation deliverables that may include research summaries, system diagrams, user scenarios, simulations, multimedia content, and product renderings
Provide creative support in maintaining internal and external web-related projects including, but not limited to websites, landing pages, and email campaigns
Ability to design, layout and code creative designs into interactive web and email formats
Developing content and graphics by coordinating with writers, developers and others; designing images, icons, banners, infographics, etc. as needed
Telling the marketing story through information and imagery
Updating and managing our current landing pages, banners, websites and web ads
Designing production quality digital graphics for desktop, tablet, and mobile
Ensuring graphic solutions are optimized for integration, performance, production and usability
Working with members of development and sales teams - brainstorming and collaborating with key stakeholders to develop brand strategies and marketing materials and ensure consistency of these various brand strategies across the portfolio
What You Bring
Bachelor's degree in or graphic design
5+ years of experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; possess the ability to deliver clear, concise and accurate message through written and verbal means
Comfortable presenting cross-functionally and across all levels.
Extremely organized, detail oriented individual with strong project and time management skills
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment and wear multiple hats
Ability to provide creative input as well as take creative direction and constructive feedback
Proficiency Adobe Creative Suite/Creative Cloud
Clear understanding of user centric design principles, user experience design. Experience in healthcare/healthcare industry preferred.
WordPress/Squarespace/Content Management System experience
Strong understanding of the design process, best design practices and principles
Positive, team player with 'roll up your sleeves', service-oriented attitude
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access
Understanding of program/project management principles and practices.
Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to influence teams and build effective working relationships with individuals and groups at all levels as well as successful collaboration with external partners.
