Ready to apply? We currently have an opportunity for a Graphic Designer, Apparel - Justice to join our team located at our Corporate Service Cntr-Justice-New Albany, OH 43054.
The Graphic Designer is responsible for:
Working with the (Graphic/Print Design) team in the creative exploration of all graphic apparel projects.
Research and identify graphic/print trends that are relevant to the company customer.
Maintain awareness of current selling information, market trends and conditions.
Work together with Merchandising and Design teams.
Supporting Senior Graphic Designer and graphics team in learning aesthetics of design, production files, cleaning up existing artwork.
Shop the market on a regular basis for ideas and inspiration.
Contributing to inspiration/trend packets using creative methods.
Responsible for small/medium category.
May have direct reports.
Work Experience and education requirements:
Degree in Graphic Design/Textile Print or related field (illustration, fashion, fine arts)
Minimum 4 years of Apparel Graphic/Textile Design experience
Excellent organizational, communication, presentation and time management skills
Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop, NED graphics
Excellent font layout skills, ability to sketch/draw
General understanding of business acumen
Works well in team environment; highly creative; copy writing skills a plus
Experience managing a direct report a plus.
