Purpose: The purpose of the Graphic Designer/Social Media Coordinator is to assist with the development of marketing materials and social media marketing, in the winter and summer seasons; particular emphasis is placed on creating and posting social media throughout the year.

• This is an onsite full-time year-round position located in Big Sky Montana. There is no remote work available for this position.

Major Responsibilities

• Ensure that each Member and Guest receives outstanding service in a friendly environment which includes greeting and acknowledging every Member and Guest, maintaining outstanding service standards, solid product knowledge and all other components of guest service.

• Empowered to guarantee total Member satisfaction, display hospitality and professionalism to our Members at all times, take pride in representing Yellowstone Club professionally with our Members and Guests and assure that all transactions are handled in a legal and ethical manner.

• Understand and apply all property safety and security procedures to maintain a secure and safe environment for team members, Members and Guests at all times. In the event of an accident or emergency, seek medical attention if necessary and contact the Assistant General Manager or Human Resources immediately.

• Maintain a favorable working relationship with all Yellowstone Club team members to foster and promote a positive working environment.

Essential Job Functions

• Design digital and printed flyers.

• Assist in the design of restaurant menus.

• Assist with the placement and shipment of photography orders.

• Edit event photos in Photoshop and/or Lightroom.

• Assist photographers with event photography and photoshoots. (Not required, but helpful.)

• Monitor daily Snow Report, which will be mostly automated.

• Maintain and manage Yellowstone Club social media, in terms of both design and posting.

• Must be able to work flexible work hours/schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays. Long hours may be required due to business demands.

Experience/Education Required

• Pursuing or achieved Graphic Design degree at a junior or senior level.

• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite Programs, including InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.

• Have a strong sense of design fundamentals: balance, composition, color, harmony.

• Have a strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Have a strong affinity for social media.

Experience/Education Preferred

• Bachelor degree in Graphic Design or visual communication-related field.

• Experience with Facebook, Instagram and other social media platforms.

• Experience with Campaign Monitor is preferred, but not required.

• Photography experience with post-production editing proficiency is preferred, but not required.

Computer Skills

• Proficient in Adobe Suite Programs, including InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
