Job Summary

We are looking for someone with a discerning eye who is able to quickly produce professional-grade design projects.

This position will support the creation and development of internal and customer-facing marketing initiatives across all forms of media, including: email, print, blog, PowerPoint, web and events collateral. He/she will collaborate with other writers, designers, developers and analysts in a team environment. He/She will be able to design high quality and effective visuals to be regularly displayed and distributed to both internal and external audiences.

The successful candidate will have an established background in design, graphic art and the applicable computer design tools. He/She will work on a range of projects - some of them simultaneously and will be able to support the goals of SHI's various business with visually effective materials. The right person will be able to give and accept constructive criticism/feedback with the constant goal of promoting the SHI brand. This position is required to report to the SHI Somerset, NJ office location.

Responsibilities/Job Function

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Developing and designing visual support to creative concepts

  • Understanding the "asks" of the SHI audience and developing supporting materials

  • Applying brand identity systems and consistency across all forms of media

  • Creating comps for evaluation, revision and collaboration

  • Ability to effectively produce quality materials in a deadline-driven environment

Qualifications/Minimum Skills Required

  • Existing portfolio of original designs that will be provided for evaluation upon request. (Candidates unable to provide existing portfolio will be at a significant disadvantage.)

  • A solid working knowledge of the latest versions of applicable programs, especially those in Adobe Creative Cloud

  • Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS. Familiarity with Bootstrap is a plus.


Degree in graphic design or similar field

Responsibilities The Client Solutions Design Manager is responsible for supporting the Selling Solutions Operations leadership team in strategy and program design as it relates to client projects that will utilize the sales, customer service, medical (nursing services, MSLs) and contact center based business lines. The objective of this position is to provide support to the business development team and business leadership in the sales, scoping, staffing plans and program design process for new business opportunities. The Client Solutions Design Manager will be responsible to understand the larger commercialization opportunity for Syneos Health with our clients and coordinate with the client facing sales team and business technology team to design the components and specific business rules that will successfully augment and partner with the overall commercial solution. The person in this position will be responsible to research the brand, market, audience and lifecycle of the product(s) related to the opportunity, in order to translate the opportunity into a specific program configuration that is designed to meet the client's objectives for their product. The Client Solutions Design Manager is responsible to provide support to correctly represent the detailed technology solution and services of these business lines and integrate them with the overall commercial solution, by ensuring cohesive and coordination between the business leadership and technology business partner. They must have extensive knowledge of the functions and must understand the processes that make these services work and the criticality of how to integrate these services into a larger multi-channel commercialization approach. The solutions architect is also responsible to translate the recommended solution specifics and service to the implementation and operations team who will be responsible for setup and ongoing operations of the program.
