Position Overview:

We are looking for a Graphic Design & Marketing Communications Specialist who can manage marketing communications projects with the graphic design, video creation and organizational skills necessary to support a strong brand and showcase our products within a globally competitive market environment. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating, developing messaging, in coordination with internal/external writing partners and designing internal/external marketing communications project. To be successful in this role, candidates will need to have strong organizational and project management skills, in addition to design and video editing capabilities In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting the development and growth of our brand presence across various integrated platforms (print, digital, event and social). This position reports to the Marketing Communications Director.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Design and create visually compelling graphics, illustrations and visual assets for various print and digital materials, including event, social media posts, e-mail, website graphics, marketing collateral, advertisements and presentations. Coordinates print production as needed.

  • Create dynamic and engaging motion graphics, animations, and visual effects to enhance video content and captivate audiences.

  • Edit and enhance video footage, including trimming, cropping, color correction, audio mixing, an adding visual effects or text overlays using Adobe Premiere Pro video editing software.

  • Demonstrate proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Premier Pro and InDesign.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams. Including sales, shared services (HR, operations, etc.), product management and external agencies to ensure marketing efforts align with business objectives.

  • Project Administration: Research, creation/writing project briefs, estimate/timeline development and ability to manage project through completion.

  • Marketing Department support, such as creating estimates, processing invoices, providing regular budget updates, etc.

Location:

This role is eligible for a hybrid work program of three days per week in the Vernon Hills office with work remotely up to 2 days per week after on boarding.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications or related field required.

  • Minimum of five years of experience at a B2B manufacturing company or professional services firm.

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and possess strong organizational skills.

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint), Adobe Creative Cloud, marketing Automation platforms i.e.: HubSpot and CMS platforms required.
