Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Graphic Designer to join our Pursuit Tax Design team, leading the ideation, execution, and production of high-level, creative sales deliverables. This individual will focus their efforts within the growing global Tax Operate/Transformation bold play service offering.

This position calls for a passionate, collaborative professional with a positive outlook, excellent communication,

and expert design skills. The preferred candidate is proactive, solution-oriented, and comfortable working in a deadline-driven environment.


  • Propose, plan, design, and deliver a full range of high-impact pursuit collateral including but not limited to proposals, interactive presentations, infographics, and other related materials

  • Produce high-quality UI/UX solutions through flow diagrams, graphics, storyboards and site maps

  • While working with stakeholder teams, consistent application of Design Thinking model, driving value through strategic design

  • Blend photography, imagery, charts, text, and multimedia elements to create high-impact materials that distinguish the Deloitte U.S. Firms in the marketplace and help win business

  • Ensure a creative yet consistent look and feel that adheres to, and supports, the Deloitte brand, visual identity, legal guidelines, and messaging

  • Exercise judgment and project management skill to balance priorities and communicate to teams

to meet and exceed project deadlines and commitments; keep internal clients informed of projects

and progress

  • Drive innovation through new workflows, technology, design trends

  • Report to Tax Design Senior Manager as part of Pursuit Management team within the Sales Excellence/Client Market and Growth Channel

Qualifications and experience

  • Advanced knowledge and expert level of Adobe CC suite (Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator),

and MS Office applications (Word, PowerPoint)

  • UX/UI experience, particularly within web applications

  • Advanced knowledge of UX principles, particularly within web-based solutions

  • Working knowledge of front-end coding and web application development

  • Highly skilled conceptual approach with strategic reasoning to visual communication

  • Knowledge of motion applications and video production a plus

  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design, UX/UI design or related field

  • 5-8 years of related work experience in business development, marketing, or internal communications

  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure, developing creative deliverables

within tight deadlines

  • Excellent oral and written communications skills

  • Professional client service manner and ability to interact with all levels of management

  • Self-starter with strong work ethic and ability to manage own time and take initiative

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $71425 to $131545.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.

As part of a hardworking team of diverse engineers, you will lead a team of structural engineers responsible for the design and analysis of spacecraft. You will execute the design, development and delivery of spacecraft structures within the allocated cost and schedule requirements. Your scope results in the delivery of safe, reliable, ready to install hardware that meets requirements and acceptance criteria. We are looking for someone to apply their technical expertise, leadership skills, and commitment to quality to positively impact safe human spaceflight. Responsibilities: * Build the structures subsystem team by identifying top priority roles, defining needed skill sets, and helping to interview prospective candidates. * Lead structural system architecture definition through identification and sizing of components and proposing advanced technology pursuits * Perform and provide technical direction to the structures subsystem team over a wide-range of structural engineering activities, such as: * Work closely with systems and design engineers and leverage structural analyses to develop integrated design solutions, rapidly assess conceptual designs, and establish structural requirements and performance parameters * Create and modify CAD models of spacecraft structures, mechanisms, and tooling in Creo Parametric 6.0 using top-down design methods. * Create interface control models and interface control drawings * Support the program assess vehicle designs through trade studies, concept development, interface development, procurement, integration, and operations support. * Coordinate with configurators, vehicle architect, and subsystem leads to develop and maintain interface control and ensure seamless integration at final assembly. * Application of relevant company, industry (design, drafting, parts) techniques to plan, lay-out, and maintain data depicting engineering designs (detail, assembly and installation drawings or datasets) * Apply robust, consistent, and reliable engineering fundamentals to ensure requirements are met * Review and understand program and company processes to ensure proper compliance * Perform hand calculations to screen concepts without detailed modeling and to sanity check finite element model results Qualifications (Required): * Minimum of a B.S. degree in Mechanical or Aerospace engineering or equivalent technical field * At least 15 years industry experience and solid foundation in structural design and analysis of space systems, preferably spacecraft, in-space stages, and/or landers * Experience with Human spaceflight * Manufacturing methods, material selection, testing, characterization & allowables development * Familiar with GD&T (ASME Y14.5) and tolerance stack analysis. * Ability to apply judgement, developed through theory and experience, to assess the appropriate level of detail required in a structural model * Experience managing and working collaboratively in small teams on fast-paced projects * History of developing solutions with partially defined requirements and changing criteria * Proficiency in business and engineering software (i.e. MS Office, Creo, Windchill, PLM, etc) * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion * Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
