Graphic Design Intern/Coordinator Job Brief

We are looking for a creative graphic designer with up-to-date knowledge to interpret our needs and to design solutions with high visual impact. You will work on a variety of projects, including monthly marketing promotions, websites, social media and one-off client requests.

Intern Duties/Responsibilities:

Intern will work with the retail marketing team to develop promotional materials for programs, including flyers, posters, brochures and social media content to promote various programs or services, using Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.).

  • Work with a wide range of media and use graphic design software

  • Think creatively and develop new design concepts, graphics and layouts

  • Work as part of a team with copywriters, designers, stylists, executives etc.

Educational Requirements:

The internship is best suited for college students or recent college graduates who have completed coursework in graphic design, marketing, visual arts or related fields or have acquired skills/experience in these areas through personal or professional endeavors.

Skills, Training or Qualifications:

Ideal candidates will have proficient experience using Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) and demonstrate enthusiasm and an interest in applying design concepts in an applied setting within Morrison Healthcare guidelines.

Requirements

  • Proven graphic designing experience

  • Possession of creative flair, versatility, conceptual/visual ability and originality

  • Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio

  • Ability to interact, communicate and present ideas

  • Up to date with industry leading software and technologies (InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, etc.)

  • Highly proficient in all design aspects

  • Professionalism regarding time, costs and deadlines

  • Assist with file management
