The Pittsburgh Steelers are seeking a talented graphic design intern to work within their content department. This internship will provide a full-time (1- year contract) position that will enable you to be a part of one of the NFL's most iconic and successful franchises. In this role, you will partner closely with the Senior Manager of Creative Services and design team to communicate the Pittsburgh Steelers brand vision across all channels while ensuring adherence to the organization's brand identity and standards.
Ideal candidates will demonstrate a strong work ethic with the ability to multi-task within a fast-paced environment. The Graphic Design intern will support a broad range of annual creative initiatives, campaigns and events.
A complete working knowledge of all Adobe Creative Cloud Suite programs is required. Previous experience working in sports creative services is preferred.
This is a paid, full time, onsite position, with option to extend for 2nd year.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop and produce motion graphic solutions that bring the creative presentation further to life across Steelers owned and operated digital channels.
Exhibit strong project management by handling multiple jobs while keeping within desired project timelines, budgets and brand vision.
Actively incorporate and implement strategic design concepts into integrated marketing campaigns in all media channels.
Establish and maintain communication with Senior Manager of Creative Services along with necessary team members for all project requests.
Working knowledge of web standards, preparing output for digital platforms, interactive environments and print prepress setup.
Work as a collaborative creative team member partnering with cross functional departments including: marketing, digital, content and fan engagement teams.
SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND EXPERIENCE:
Expert knowledge in MAC Adobe Creative Cloud Suite: Illustrator, InDesign, Photo Shop, After Effects, Premiere Pro and Acrobat
Proficiency in Microsoft: Teams, PowerPoint and Office
Strong organization and time management skills
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
Strong attention to detail
Ability to take direction and work independently to complete assigned tasks
Strong communication skills and ability to think strategically
Excellent design and typography sense
Working knowledge of printing and prepress process
Working knowledge of web standards and digital file output
Working knowledge of outdoor production and file output
Copywriting and copyediting experience
