What We Need:

Bandwidth is seeking a Graphic Design Intern to work with our team during the summer months. Are you good at design, at balancing art with order? Do you like patterns, themes and consistency? Are you engaging and inspirational to the people around you? Are you driven to make things beautiful around you? If you said "check" to these, then come and join our internal communications team over the summer and help us add art to our communication.

What You'll Do:

  • Work with a small team on design projects ranging from websites, logos/branding, brochures, large wall artwork, swag and miscellaneous cleanup where needed.

  • Help us with photography and video capture

  • (we'll give you your own camera and lenses to use over the summer).

  • Edit and manipulate photographs

  • Edit videos and create animations

  • Record and edit audio

What You'll Need:

  • You're working toward a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or similar concentration

  • You have an amazing portfolio

  • You can work independently with minimal instructions and you thrive in a fast-paced environment

  • You have strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of projects

  • You work closely with others as part of a team while being able to take full responsibility for a task

  • You use Photoshop, Illustrator and Premiere Pro

VIEW JOBS 2/7/2020 12:00:00 AM 2020-05-07T00:00 An Electrical / Mechanical Design Engineer Intern job is currently available through Belcan. This job will work as an intern or Contractor on various projects in Raleigh, NC on our in-house team. To be considered for this position, you must have CAD education or experience. This is a paid part-time internship (start/stop/time-off dates negotiable) with an option to extend into the Summer and through following school semesters as available. Hours for this job are going to be flexible with a minimum mutual commitment of 15 hours per week. The majority of the hours should be worked during core business hours (weekdays between 8 am to 5 pm), but we're very flexible about scheduling as long as the schedule is consistent (days of week, number of hours per day, working around school/other commitments). Design Engineer Intern job duties: * Update 3D and 2D models to government standards. * Make changes to ensure compliance with established design standards and practices. * Complete change requests, conversions, and make model and assembly changes within proper CAD tools and parts software. * Resolves client questions or field problems concerning the design package and contract deliverables. * Conduct different design procedures, such as 2D and 3D modeling, simple modifications of existing production components. * Working with other designers to get design concepts. * Review 2D prints for design intent and clarity. * Parts list creation and management. * Interact with Suppliers and coordinate with other team members to achieve project. Qualifications: * Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. * Pursuing a BSME or related degree involving electrical or mechanical design. * Strong interpersonal, communications, and team skills. * Experience with 3D CAD software (specifically Creo 4). * One to five years professional design experience. * Ability to work in a team environment and take direction. * Ability to work independently and be a self-starter. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. * Ability to multi-task.
